Buried in Treasures in 2016

In July 2015, the first Buried in Treasures workshop started in the ACT.  It was a wonderful success and and the participants have experienced progress in decluttering and increasing their self awareness around the thought patterns underlying their behaviour and building trust and confidence in themselves and others.  The workshops are run internationally and it is wonderful to see them continuing here in the ACT to assist our community.

They are co-facilitated by a person with lived experience of hoarding and a mental health worker based at community organisations throughout Canberra. Around 10 participants will meet weekly, assisting and supporting each other to work towards their individual goals. The program will run for 20 weeks. If you are interested in  participating in the Buried in Treasures, please be aware you must attend one of the information sessions leading up to the start of the groups.

We are pleased to announce we will be running two more groups in early 2016. The first commenced in February and another started mid April.  If you are interested in attending or more information, please sign up on our home page to receive updates or head to the About Us section of this website where information will be listed under Buried In Treasures in the drop down menu.
